It is approximately three months or thereabouts since the unexpected demise of the popular United republic of Tanzania President John Pombe Magufuli at Mzena Hospital in Dar es Salaam following heart related complications.
During his tenure, many opposition politicians ran into deep trouble with the government. Among these leaders is Chama cha Demokrasia na maendeleo (CHADEMA) party deputy chairperson Tundu Lissu who was first exiled to Belgium.
"CHADEMA party deputy leader Hon Tundu Lissu will be among those in attendance among those who will make address during the Constitutional day on 1st July, 2021 at Segerea area in Dar es Salaam," the report indicated.
This will be the first major event for Tundu Lissu to attend after his exiling where he has mainly maintained contact with his countrymen on social media platforms.
