Opposition Leader Tundu Lissu Exiled During Magufuli's Reign to Address a Huge Crowd in Tanzania

It is approximately three months or thereabouts since the unexpected demise of the popular United republic of Tanzania President John Pombe Magufuli at Mzena Hospital in Dar es Salaam following heart related complications.

During his tenure, many opposition politicians ran into deep trouble with the government. Among these leaders is Chama cha Demokrasia na maendeleo (CHADEMA) party deputy chairperson Tundu Lissu who was first exiled to Belgium.

And now, several months since going into exile, the Tanzanian opposition leader is set to address a huge crowd at Segerea area in the economic capital of Dar es Salaam.

"CHADEMA party deputy leader Hon Tundu Lissu will be among those in attendance among those who will make address during the Constitutional day on 1st July, 2021 at Segerea area in Dar es Salaam," the report indicated.

This will be the first major event for Tundu Lissu to attend after his exiling where he has mainly maintained contact with his countrymen on social media platforms.
