Cate Waruguru today was in Umande and Thingithu Ward where she commissioned the construction of roads. The two roads are sponsored by KERRA. And Cate was accompanied by the residents, who could not hide their excitement over the just-ended road project. Cate Waruguru is the current Women Representative for Laikipia County. These road projects could turn out one of her best agendas as few women representatives have shown interest in infrastructural projects more so road construction.
Jubilee government has worked towards the upgrading of murram roads to bitumen standards a move that has witnessed KERRA and KURA focus in achieving the 10000km tarmacked roads milestone.
Cate Waruguru was a supporter of the Hustler Movement before ditching the Tangatanga camp for Kieleweke. Seeing her commission the road projects is a sign she has shifted her focus to improve the living standards of the residents of Laikipia County.
