Nyeri town constituency member of Parliament Hon Ngunjiri Wambugu has finally broken his silence following IEBC chairman wafula Chebukati's statement concerning the Johnson Sakaja degree saga. The Commission for University Education CUE yesterday revoked the Sakaja degree for the second time saying it does not recognize it.
However, the IEBC chairman has dismissed the letter saying the commission adequately dealt with the matter.

According to Ngunjiri Wambugu however, IEBC is not clear on the matter of Sakaja and the issue of clearance. Ngunjiri who has begged to know the fate of that politician who will be implicated after clearance has asked the question " can't I be stopped from running once I am cleared if found to have lied somewhere?".
IEBC through the disputes tribunal committee said the commission does not have the jurisdiction to determine the authenticity of aspiring candidates degrees and that their only consider the ones presented to them.
