The recent remarks by ODM party of Kenya leader Raila Amollo Odinga has opened a new conversation in the political arena. He had earlier stated that a manual register must be provided in all polling stations across the country.
Abdi Guliye the Chief Executive Officer has finally decided to respond to those allegations being raised from the Azimio coalation. He was keen to note that IEBC is going to conduct free and fair elections across all pooling station in the country.
He was keen to note that the current digital register being used is constitutionally correct as it is backed by a court order. He has highlighted that the elections must go on as outlined in the constitution without the interference from the political class.
He has highlighted that the register that is currently produced which is electronic is going to be used across the country with or without interjections.
