According to Jubilee Party Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni, Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi presently sits above Vice President Rigathi Gachagua in the executive branch of government's organizational structure.
Kioni asserts that President William Ruto's most recent directive to rearrange his cabinet has boosted Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi while weakening his deputy Rigathi Gachagua.
In an interview with The Nation newspaper, Mithika Linturi, the vice president's secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture, stated that she might be required to report if she were to take charge of the sector for coffee reformers, one of the agricultural departments.
Departmental difficulties appear to report to the DP Cabinet Secretary, even from the Ministry of Agriculture to Vice President Rigathi Gachagua, claimed Kioni.
This is even as he insisted that Gachagua may be chairing cabinet committees according to the executive order and report back to Mudavadi.
