Hon. Raphael Wanjala, a member of parliament for the Budalangi constituency, criticized President William Ruto's administration in an interview with TV47 on Tuesday, June 6.
Speaking, Wanjala referred to Ruto's decision to establish the hustlers fund as a "fuliza" method of money-making and accused him of obstructing other loan agreements, including the Uwezo Fund, the Youth Enterprise Fund, and many others.
In his opinion, the government is somehow betraying the other loan agreements because previous administrations allegedly used them to funnel funds to Kenyans, just as he had done under former president Uhuru Kenyatta.
He also charged William Ruto with defrauding Kenyans by promising that the hustlers fund would be free, but it surprised him that it had an unexpected interest rate.
His comments come as Raila Odinga, the leader of the Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition, is anticipating meeting Kenyans tomorrow at the Kamukunji grounds for a consultative meeting.
