Raila Odinga Jr. and Fidel Odinga's widow are appointed as joint administrators of his estate.

Lwam Getachew Bekele, the widow of Raila Odinga's late son Fidel Odinga, now has complete control over Fidel's three assets, which also include a mansion in Karen.

According to a Nation article, the Odingas resolved that Ms. Lwam Bekele and Raila Odinga Jr. would act as joint administrators of Fidel's estate in an out-of-court settlement.

Ms. Lwam Bekele will also be in charge of eight of Fidel Odinga's bank accounts, but they will only be used to pay for the child's expenses like school fees, food, and clothing.Ida Odinga, Raila Odinga Jr., and Ms. Lwam all signed the contract.

When the Odinga family accused Bekele of ignoring twins that Fidel had fathered with Phoebe Akinyi, the legal case was first made public in 2019.

After Fidel's passing in January of 2015, the twins were born. Bekele was granted administration rights over Fidel's inheritance in 2019, but the Odingas objected because they thought she would neglect other heirs.

The administration of Fidel's properties is subject to Phoebe Akinyi's rights, the mother of the twins.
