Days after a controversial secret audio clip of Ruto narrating on how he nearly slapped Uhuru back in 2017 after Maraga nullifying their win was leaked, Uasin Gishu county women representative Gladys Boss Sholei has come out and made her remarks concerning the issue. Sholei rubbished claims from Azimio team that Ruto would harm Kenyans if elected saying that Ruto was a good friend who wanted good for Uhuru.
"A slap from a friend is better than a kiss from an enemy. I wish I had friends like William Ruto who would slap and tell me to wake up," said Sholei. In that audio clip, Ruto was heard confessing that Ruto had given up after the nullification and wanted to go back to Chawire. That is when he almost his tamper to almost slapping him.
Since then, Ruto's rivals have accused him of being a short tempered person who won't be able to lead Kenya as the president.
