Transzoia county governor George Natembeya, had expressed his excitement and appreciation after a case challenging the nomination of his chief officers was dismissed today.

Taking to his official social media pages, the Democratic Action party governor appreciated his legal team for the great work and declared that it is now time to deliver on his manifesto.
"Join me in appreciating my Legal team led by Counsel @OringeWaswa for putting up a good fight in the Petition challenging the Nomination of Chief Officers." He said.
"My appreciation also goes to the good Judge for upholding the rule of law. We now focus on delivering our agenda." The first time governor added.

A petitioner Stephen Kiplagat Rotich had moved to Court Seeking to block the 11 officers from being sworn in arguing that the list of the nominees lacked regional and tribal balance considering the composition of the county.
