Nanok and Muthama in Ruto's event today
Kalonzo’s backyard was today painted yellow as deputy president William Ruto and his battalion invaded the area for an empowerment drive. The event saw several leaders from the three main parties attend the event bringing to the limelight the political muscles that the second in command has in the country.
Notably were Kalonzo’s party legislators who in recent days have shown defiance and joined UDA as the race to 2022 continues to heat and intensify. Also present was the ODM governor from the northern part of Kenya who fell out with the party some few months ago.
So far Ruto enjoys massive support from the area with a good number openly endorsing his candidature. However, it is still unclear which party will the leaders use to vie for their seats since they are yet to join UDA in the coming election. Ruto is visiting the area for the third time in 2 months.
