As 2022 politics now getting to another level with the ODM party leader Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto appearing to be the main horses in the top political race, the two have channeled much of their efforts on the ground in efforts to popularize their bids.
Their major recent and current political rallies have made Kenyans start making comparisons based on the number of crowds that they have been pulling.
And this includes their today's parallel rallies at different parts of the Country. As Raila was engaging the people from one of his top political bases, Kisumu County, the DP was engaging with the people of Makueni County.
Below is the photo collage of the two days different rallies. The one above is DP Ruto's in Makueni County while the one below it is Raila's in Kisumu County.
And from the above photo, you can easily see and tell who managed to pull a huge number of crowd in his rally than the other.
Remember DP Ruto was in Makueni County which is a region well known to be Kalonzo Musyoka's political backyard while Raila was in Kisumu County which is well known to be his undisputed political bedrock ever since he got into national politics.
From my view, I can see and tell without any fear of contradiction that the DP had pulled a more huge crowd on Makueni than his top political rival Raila Odinga in Kisumu County.
And what does this mean with regards to the 2022 political race? This is a true indication that the DP is continuing to get much love and support across the country as Raila's heavy political influence is reducing even in his political bases.
This is one thing that must get the ODM party more worried and go back to the drawing board to come up with a solution on how the party leader's political influence can get to its peak again before the general elections.
