Soon, former president Uhuru Kenyatta who doubles up as Kenya's Peace Envoy and Jubilee Party Leader will hand over power to someone else - this is as revealed by EALA MP Kanini Kega who is one of his innermost confidants.
As Uhuru prepares to hand his boots, the party is allegedly on the hunt for the next party leader.
According to assistant party secretary general Joshua Kutuny, the next party leader will not be a newcomer in the party. Speaking to the media, Kutuny revealed that the next party leader will be oke one among the party's four ( 4 ) assistant party chiefs.
According to Kutuny, the National Executive Committee will vet the four deputy party leaders and choose a suitable leader who will lead Jubilee into the future.
The four are;
1) Kitutu Chache North MP Jimmy Angwenyi
2) Tavaeta MP Naomi Shabaan
3) Former Kajiado County Senator Peter Mositet
4) Former Buuri MP Gatobu Kinoti.
Mr Angwenyi already declared his support for president William Ruto and it's unclear wheather he has plans of making a comeback into the party.
