Bishop Wanjiru has been calling on city citizens to adopt the bottom-up economic model as part of his campaign to reform the city with an emphasis on service delivery. After declaring she won't vote for some members of her own UDA party, the Nairobi County senatorial candidate for the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has sparked conflicting emotions.
But why can't she cast a ballot for party members? is the obvious issue. She will vote for someone based on their character and track record of providing services. That is according to her comments.
"Even in my party (UDA), there are people I cannot vote for." They all know my stand. If someone has a questionable character or has a zero service delivery track record, I, Margaret Wanjiru, cannot be a part of their team. Margaret Wanjiru said.
This may raise the question of whom she will vote for, from the president down to the MCAs in Nairobi.
