Citizen TV has apologized over a mistake on the mismatch of names on a case seeking to stop the ouster of the four Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, IEBC Commissioners.
In the apology read by the Citizen TV news anchor, Vicky Rubadiri, Citizen TV has made it clear that the petitioner seeking the High Court in Kisumu to stop the process is called Shem Otieno Diang'a while Sam Onyango is the lawyer representing him.
According to the Citizen TV, the petitioner wants the High Court to immediately stop the process claiming that the four are being targeted and it is discriminatory.
The petitioner claims tjat he forwarded three petitions to Parliament for the removal of Wafula Chebukati, Boya Molu and Abdi Yakub Guliye as the Commissioners of the IEBC.
However according to Diang'a, he can't understand why his petition was struck and rubbished off. He case will be determined on Monday at 9am.
