Citizen Tv investigative journalist Purity Mwambia is currently in DCI headquarters. She is being investigated after she exposed the gungalore scenes in the country. Early in the morning a letter asking all the bosses to go to DCI leaked online.
Purity is accused of giving false information to he public. This is after she revealed a story of policemen hiring guns to the public. Purity had gone to an extent of acquiring two guns and police uniforms from the police.
Mwambia risks jail term of not less than 10 years and will loss her job. However, the media council of Kenya have vowed to let her free. They say, it's their duty to unravel anything they think is wrong somewhere.
Purity has posted in her social media accounts that she is detained in DCI. She requires Kenyans to pray for her and the Citizen Tv fraternity.
