Reported by Nation, the veteran opposition has reiterated that they were suddened by Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) leadership for involving themselves in august 2022 Presidential elections by asking Azimio la Umoja-OKA leaders who had filed petitions in court challenging elections outcome due to irregularities withdraw. According to Raila with ACK advising Azimio leaders to withdraw their case from courts is a clearly stating that they really supported election malpractices, saying that the work of Church is to stand by the truth thereby practicing justice. Former Prime Minister went ahead to reveal that they went ahead to put pressure on elders from some communities telling them to declare that those rejecting the results of the general election would be cursed.

"We were saddened by Anglican church (ACK) leadership for involving itself in the political agitation and asking the Azimio leaders who had petitioned the election's outcome, due to irregularities to withdraw in the interest of unity. They went ahead to put pressure on elders from some communities telling them to declare that those rejecting the results of the general election would be cursed" says Raila Odinga

However kenyans have gone after Raila telling him that it's high time he should accept that he was defeated rather than now changing tunes by blaming the Anglican Church for encouraging election irregularities. People now claims that they don't understand Raila because at first he Started by blaming Chebukati, went to Supreme court judges who unanimously upheld Ruto's victory, went ahead after international communities and is now after ACK.
