The scenes witnessed at the Juja by-election has left many Kenyans talking after the Jubilee government allegedly tried to use police force and change the results into their favor.
Taking to social media, nominated Senator Millicent Omanga a close ally to DP Ruto came out last night to condemn the violence witnessed in Juja as she called on the Deep state to accept results and move on.
"What is happening in Juja is unacceptable. Accept and move on. We have all the results," read Omanga's tweet.
Juja constituency is a battle between Susan Njeri Waititu nominated by Jubilee and business man George Koimbori fronted by Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria.
With Kuria pledging his loyalty to Deputy President William Ruto, one could as well call it a battle for power in Mt. Kenya between the two heads of state.
The counting was stopped after acts of hooliganism by a group of individuals led by Kiambu governor Mr. James Nyoro.
