Amani National Congress (ANC) party boss Musalia Mudavadi, Vihiga Women Representative Beatrice Adagala, Sabatia legislator and ANC gubernatorial hopeful Alfred Agoi have thunderously stormed Chavakali, West Bunyore, Hamisi in Vihiga county on vote hunting mission ahead of forthcoming general election, that is slated on 9th August, 2022.
The Kenya Kwanza brigade led by Musalia Mudavadi was heroically received by charged and excited crowds, that had donned in ANC matching attires while chanting 'pesa mfukoni' slogans to welcome the legislators in the region for a series of rallies.
Speaking during the rally in shiru ward, Hamisi Constituency, Adagala has wooed electorates to vote for Kenya Kwanza candidates in order to secure 70 per cent of the votes from Mulembe nation in Kenya Kwanza vote-hunting basket.
"In order for our principals to deliver 70 per cent to Kenya Kwanza Coalition, we need to vote for all Kenya Kwanza candidates in the region and dismiss Azimio - One Kenya allied aspirants. Vote for Kenya Kwanza candidates to enhance better coordination between the national government and county government" she said.
She rallied locals to back her candidature for Women rep seat in Vihiga. Adagala promised to reinforce empowerment programs in the regions that will hopefully target to benefit the underprivileged and downtrodden in the society, in the bid of bridging the gap between the poor and the rich.
"I want to ask everyone to wake up very early in the morning on 9th August and vote for ANC candidates from County Governor, Alfred Agoi, Women rep (Mimi hapa), MPs and MCAs. We have already forged empowerment programs for our people and this will help to create jobs for our jobless youths and expand our micro, small and medium business enterprises" Adagala added.
Barely a month ago, Adagala received a significant boost after UDA candidate Jackline Mwenesi bolted out of the race in favour of her (Beatrice Adagala), projecting political bonga point in the bid to defend the seat in oncoming contest.
Other candidates eyeing for the seat includes; Ruth Bukachi, Winnie Majani.
