Leaders from different regions have been running up and down as they look to find likable characters to team up with. The movements have involved changing political parties in a bid to boost their chances of clinching victory in 2022.

Kirinyaga Governor Ann Waiguru recently announced her plan to join Ruto's UDA in a bid to boost her 2022 chances. Waiguru noted that it would be a tall order to defend her seat in 2022 using the jubilee party.

Away from politics, Waiguru has opened up on her marriage and how she has been jostling between being a governor and being a wife. Waiguru is married to legal guru Kamotho Waiganjo.

In an interview with a local daily, Waiguru revealed she has been dating the lawyer for almost 12 years.

She noted that marriage life requires balance for it to work. Waiguru revealed one of the challenges of marriage is abandoning one's preferences such as color, type of furniture, choice of the house before one can move in with their partner.

She revealed that this is the reason that has stopped her from moving in with Waiganjo. According to Waiguru, Waiganjo stays in Runda while she lives in Kirinyaga. The family usually meets in Kirinyaga every Saturday with both Waiguru and Waiganjo's children attending the meetings. Then Sunday has been dedicated to Waiguru and Waiganjo without the children.

Meanwhile, share with us your thoughts on the matter kindly.
