Deputy President William Ruto's name has today rent the air in Raila's azimio la Umoja movement mega rally at Mikinduri, Meru county.
This is after what Suna East Member of Parliament, Junet Mohammed said about DP Ruto as he popularised Raila's presidential quest.
Raising to the occasion, Junet hailed Raila as a person who has not only fought for the welfare of common mwananchi but also strived to see devolution, democracy and better leadership work in the country.
In a direct attack at Ruto. Junet asked residents to name a person who has allegedly been accused of corruption and land sagas.
The crowd shouted back at him with "ruto ruto" chants.
"Ni Nani huyo amekula mbolea?" Junet asked. The crowd shouted back at him with "ruto, ruto" chants.
"Ni Nani huyo amekula mashamba, mfisadi, mwizi?" Junet kept asking the crowd. That continued to shout back at him with "Ruto Ruto" chants.
A response that meant they were in solidarity with his affirmations.
