"Fake News" Itumbi Breathes Fire Over Reported Number Of Mt. Kenya MPs Who Have Endorsed Raila

Self-proclaimed Hustlers spokesperson Dennis Itumbi has reacted to the reported update by a local media house over a number of members of parliament drawn from the vote rich Mount Kenya region who have pledged support for the Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga's 2022 presidential bid.

The ardent supporter of the deputy president William Ruto has rubbished the reports that over 35 members of parliament endorsed Raila during their breakfast meeting held today Thursday at a Nairobi hotel.

He has referred to the reports by the local media as Fake News sharing the photos from the meeting as uploaded by one of the attendees of the meeting Hon. Kanini Kega, the member of parliament for Kieni constituency.

"I am told that Capital FM Kenya has an SMS alert saying over 35 MPs from Mt.Kenya were in Serena Now here are some of the photos shared by kanini kega and others. Count even Raila Odinga - add even Waweru & Kariri. Opiyo Wandayi and Junet Mohamed too. Fake Capital FM News." He posted on his Twitter handle.

Raila held a meeting with Uhuru allies commonly known as Kieleweke team drawn from the Mount Kenya region, the meeting came just a day after the ODM boss held a high profile meeting with Mount Kenya Tycoons. The meeting reportedly resolved to back his presidential bid.
