Jubilee Secretary General Admits Receiving Invitation From State House To Attend Uhuru's Meeting

The newly appointed Jubilee party Secretary General and Ndaragwa MP Jeremiah Kioni admitted to have received an invitation letter from the head of state president Uhuru for state house meeting with Mt Kenya legislators whose agenda wasn't allegedly disclosed in the letter.

"The invitation is to everybody from Mt Kenya region and you will notice that I do not know the agenda..." Jeremiah Kioni told journalist Ken Mijungu.

"State House dismisses Jubilee Secretary General over meeting called by President Uhuru Kenyatta. Invite text sent to all Mt Kenya senators and Governors" Itumbi shared the video.

However, the state house has dismissed the alleged circulating invitation letters to Members of Parliament, senators and Governors drawn from Uhuru's backyard terming them as fake and false.

"President Uhuru Kenyatta did not have any planned meetings with Members of Parliament, Senators and Governors drawn from central Kenya home turf" the statement issued by State House spokesperson Kanze Dena reads.

"The president did not convene not postpone any such meeting. Therefore, the infor is false and misleading" added Dena.

She informed that President Uhuru Kenyatta is set for public engagement throughout the week to shape the journey of Azimio among other agenda.

"His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta's diary for the remainder of the week and weekend ahead has several public engagements of which Kenyans will be duly informed through established platforms" she stated.
