Leaders from the Eastern part of Mount Kenya have come out in numbers to condemn former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka. This is in line with remarks of Kalonzo faulting some of President William Ruto's nominees in the Cabinet last week more so Mithika Linturi
However according to these Meru leaders, former Meru Senator Mithika Linturi is fit enough to hold the Agricultural docket and that Kalonzo should shun from making such remarks now that the political season is over. Kalonzo had made it clear that he will ask members of the Parliamentary Committee in to shoot down nominees with pending court cases like Linturi.
However as per Monday morning, the unidentified lady who had taken Linturi to court accusing him of rape has so far dropped the case thus leaving Linturi with a clean record. These Meru leaders have expressed their faith that their son will in days to come hold the Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture position
