Opinion Poll Shows A Widening Gap Between Linet Toto and Other Aspirants in Bomet Women Rep. Race

The Kenyan constitution provides that general elections should take place after every five years and having taken place in 2017, Kenya is ripe for a general election this year on 9th August 2022 foe the six elective seats starting from the members of parliament, members of county assemblies, members of parliament, women representatives, senators, governors and the president.

Mizani opinion poll has released an opinion poll today for the women representative race for Bomet county and Linet Toto has again left many talking after the results showed that she is popular with 70.7% while her closest rival is Beatrice Tonui with 19.8%, İrene Cherotich is third with 6.8%, 0.9% say they will vote for other candidates and 1.8% are still undecided.

Linet Toto gained nationwide fame on April last month after she floored the current Bomet women representative to clinch the United Democratic Alliance ticket, she is just 2024 years and probably the youngest to be women representative.
