Kenyans Cautioned, Told What Will Happen In Kenya If Government Does Not Arrest KQ Pilots Strike

It is three days today since KQ pilots downed their working tools, demanding a number of issues to be sorted before they can get down to work.

The Airline inconvenienced a good number of people who had planned to a travel abroad for different reasons as the passengers could be seen stranded at the airport.

As a result, reactions have been received from different individuals including the Cabinet Secretary for Transport and Infrastructure Kipchumba Murkomen who opined that the pilots are testing the new administration.

The pilots on the hand have stuck to their guns saying that they will not get back to normalcy if their views are not ironed out fully.

Speaking to KTN TV today, Kamkunji MP Yusuf Hassan now holds the view that the government should rise to the occasion and arrest the ongoing strike. According to the lawmaker, if this strike continues, the impact will be felt in the economy, something that is likely to affect Kenyans who are already struggling.

Yusuf Hassan said "We have a damaging strike that will have serious consequences on our economy. The future of the airline itself is up in the air."
