Today 10th Feb, as he inspected NCDC-Nairobi. President Uhuru stopped to greeted the public along the road and made a statement that confirms what Jubilee Deputy Vice Chair David Murathe has been saying all along. President Uhuru declared that he wont handover the Presidency to a thief and someone who harasses other Kenyans. He spoke amidst of cheers and agreement from the crowd. He added that the leader who is to take after him should unify the country and not sow seeds of disunity. Of late Dp Ruto has been hostile and intimidating the President to abandon the BBI to the extent of continuing with early campaigns and fielding candidates in by-elections who are non members of Jubilee party.
Deputy Vice Chairman David Murathe has been quoted multiple times saying the President wont handover power to a thief according to standardmedia and it was no surprise when the president repeated the same words even though Murathe said he holds no brief for the president and his words are his own. Going forward Vice Chair Murathe words might hold more weight in the political space.
