Elgeiyo Marakwet senator have once again found himself in rough time with Kenyans following His remarks over the recent move by president Kenyatta Ruto opened up the locked counties and allow cessation of people.
Senator Murkomen said that the president allows movement of people in and out of these counties in order to facilitate BBI and referundum.
"The lifting of cessation of movement and relaxation of other rules is sponsored by BBI referundum and not your petitions," Murkomen said.
This has led to kenyans blasting him wondering why he was opposing the opening yet the people were crying for the president to opened up the country economic. The president announced the measurement back in March this year to curb the spread the spread of Corona.
During today's Labour day celebration the president allow back the cessation of people in and out of the previously locked counties. Uhuru also hear the cries from hotel industry, with now restaurants are back and clubs and bars will operate upto 7:00 pm in the evening, He also lift the curfew from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
