Sen Cheruiyot Proposes What Government Should do to Uhuru After he Ruled Out Retiring From Politics

Addressing Jubilee Party delegates on Monday, May 22, in Ngong Racecourse, retired president Uhuru Kenyatta announced that he made his mind telling supporters and enemies that he will not be exiting political stage anytime soon.Uhuru cited that his stance to hold into politics was informed after his adversaries dared him to a combat. The former Head of State found himself in the jinx after pro-Ruto liutenants accused him of bankrolling Azimio rallies and protests against Ruto's administration.

Commenting on Uhuru's declaration, Nandi senator Samson Cherargei has called the government to move in and deny Kenyatta his retirement perks over his engagement in local politics.The lawmaker proposed 100% witholding of Uhuru's retirement package, retired presidents are accorded millions of shillings annually but the beneficiary must first meet a number of obligations among them resigning from party and local politics.

In his discourse, Uhuru admitted that he was read to call it quits from politics but his adversaries have dared him to a combat by invoking his name and person into their squabbles.Among the political missions Uhuru is set to partake include revival of the Building Bridges Initiative and Azimio's ongoing cause of compelling Ruto's administration to lower the cost of living.
