Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka is one of the leaders who have shown interest in vying for presidency in 2022. The vibrant and experienced politicians will be competing with other presidential candidates led by deputy president William Ruto and ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi.
Today the former vice president took his presidential campaigns to Mount Kenya region in a move to woe the region's votes ahead of 2022. The party leader is accompanied by various leaders from Wiper party and larger Ukambani region.
The party leader first met Embu Governor Martin Wambora in the morning at his official office in Embu county. The leaders held consultative meeting before addressing the press at the governor's office.
After his meeting the former vice president met Kirinyanga governor Anne Waiguru at his official residence in Kagio. The leaders held consultative discussion on various issues affecting the country and the region ahead of 2022 polls. Later in the evening he will meet Tharaka Nithi Governor Muthomi in Tharaka Nithi county.
The wiper party leader is accompanied by various leaders from Wiper party. Leaders present includes Makueni senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior, Kitui senator Enock Wambua, Machakos senator Agnes Kavindu, Kathiani MP Robert Mbui, Former KMTC chairman Philip Kaloki among other elected leaders.
