Suna East Member of Parliament Junet Mohamed who is also the Majority Chief Whip in the National Assembly has reacted to President William Ruto's caution to Azimio leader Raila Odinga ahead of the public rallies in Nairobi. President Ruto said that Raila is free to hold mass action but should maintain peace in the country. Ruto claimed that any responsible opposition can still hold the government in check without demostrations. Ruto cautioned the opposition team as it plays its opposition role in the country.
Taking to his twitter handle Junet said that Ruto seems that he wants to co fine the opposition into a corner. He claimed "Ruto seems to want to confine the opposition into a corner where he decides what to be criticized in his government, who to do the criticizing, where to do it, how to do it and for how long. Despotism starts this way." Junet seemed to be bitter over Ruto's caution.
