Raila Odinga Breaks Silence After IEBC Announcement

Raila Odinga has come out to address the nation after yesterday's announcement by IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati. William Samoei Ruto was declared winner of the 2022 presidential general election.

According to Raila Odinga the results announced by Wafula Chebukati were null and void. He claimed that Wafula Chebukati did not involve the other commissioners in results analysis.

Raila Odinga in his speech assured safety to the four commissioners who separated from the other commissioners and rejected the results announced by Wafula Chebukati.

Raila Odinga said that the figures announced by Wafula Chebukati were null and void, in their view, he said that their is neither a legally, validly declared winner nor a president-elect.

Raila Odinga said,"The figures announced by Chebukati are null and void,in our view, their is neither a legally,validly declared winner nor a president-elect."

Juliana Cherera who had just addressed the press said that they were not involved in the process of analysing presidential election results. According to Juliana Cherera the election results by Wafula Chebukati the results exceeded the 100% mark. She said that their was an addition of 0.01% which translates to 142,000 votes which made a significant difference in the final presidential election results.
