Senator Kihika Speaks About Raila's Visit to Eldoret, Reveals When They are Heading to Kisumu

Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika has lauded Uasin Gishu residents for coming out in large numbers to welcome ODM Party boss Raila Odinga when he visited Eldoret town recently.

Speaking on Sunday when she was hosted by Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi for a prayer service and fundraiser at AIC Mokombet Local Church, Kipkenyo Ward, Kapseret Constituency, Kihika said that is the spirit that every Kenyan should embrace ahead of 2022 general polls.

She termed the decision by Eldoret residents to turn up in numbers as maturity. adding that some quarters were so keen on how the ODM boss will be received, with others expecting him to be heckled so that they can justify their falsehoods about Rift Valley.

She said all leaders should be free to visit any part of the country and sell their manifestoes without fear. At the same time, the Ruto allied Senator revealed that they could be planning as UDA to storm Kisumu city in the coming week.

"There were others keen on what would happen to Raila in Eldoret so that they can have what to say...I laud Eldoret residents for welcoming Raila in numbers, let's continue with that heart so that when we drop to Kisumu next week, we can also witness the same," she stated.

She however cautioned Eldoret residents against being lied to that Raila will save the country's economy, adding that DP Ruto is the only one who understands their problems and has the solutions for the same.

"You welcomed him but I know where your hearts are, do not allow yourselves to be deceived by those people telling you they have solutions to our crumbled economy...let us all register as voters so as to enable William Ruto to become president in 2022" she added

She excluded confidence of a UDA win in 2022, terming the recent results from Masumba-Nguu ward by-election in Kalonzo's Kibwezi West backyard as a clear indication that Kenyans are embracing the wheelbarrow party.

"If we can defeat Wiper in Ukambani, that is a clear indication that UDA is doing well all over the country. Let us continue spreading the gospel" she said

At the same time, the senator donated a total of Ksh500,000 towards the completion of the church.
