Juliana Cherera: Wafula Chebukati "Cooked" the Results

After the release of the election results yesterday, Kenyans have been in shock. Four of the IEBC Commissioners yesterday refused to take ownership of the results. Some of the IEBC chairman Juliana Cherera the vice chairman have then issued a statement.

In their comprehensive statement yesterday, these are the four issues.

The Vice Chairman Juliana Cherera has said that the overall percentage of the total tally was 100.01%. The Results as per the IEBC chairman Chebukati was Ruto received 7,176,141 (50.49 percent) of the votes, narrowly beating his rival, Raila Odinga, who managed 6,942,930 votes (48.85 percent). The percentage added together with the other candidates adds to 100.01%.

The Vice Chairman has also said that the Commission was not informed of the decision to make the results public as they were not allowed to discuss. The commissioners also adds that the Chairman Wafula Chebukati did not address the issues that were being raised by political agents.

The commission of four, has also added that they have no results but believe that the one that was being released to the public was cooked and the results were "opaque".
