President William Samoei Ruto has made major appointments in the Judiciary a day after the launch of National Council on the Administration of Justice (NCAJ) report where he was hosted by Chief Justice Martha Koome.
In a special Kenya Gazette dated December 5, 2022, the President approved all names forwarded to him by the Judicial Service Commission (JSC). After the appointment by President Ruto, the 20 will help address the biting shortage and speed up the hearing and determination of cases
"IN EXERCISE of the powers confered by Article 166 (1) (b) of the Constitution of Kenya, I, William Samoei Ruto, President and Commander-in. Chief of the Kenya Defence Forces, appoint" read the gazette notice.
Those appointed are.

2. Mongare Joscphine Wayua Wambua.
3. Nyaundi Patricia Mande, SC.
4. Kavedza Diana Rachel,
5. Chirchir Sophie Chebet.
6. Sifuna Nixon Wanyama (Prof. Dr.),
7. Shariff Mwanaisha Saida,
8. Nyaga Heston Mbogo,
9. Chigiti John Mugwimi,
10. Mulwa Peter Mutua,
11. Nthiga LawTence Mugambi,
12. Mutai Ciregory.
13. Wananda John Robert Anuro,
14. Mobochi Samwel Mukira.
15. Olel Francis Rayola Oxhieng Odhiambo,

The JSC advertised for the position of High Court Judge on March 14. After the conclusion of the interviews and shortlisting of successful candidates, the commission thanked all the candidates and stakeholders for their participation in the recruitment and selection process,” Chief Justice Martha Koome said in a statement. According to Koome, the submission marks the end of recruitment advertised by the commission on March 14, 2022.
