Democratic Action party which is associated to the outgoing Defence Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa, has reacted to the low turnout at the Uhuru Gardens where the Mashujaa Day celebrations are being held.
According to photos bring shared by local media houses, several empty seats can be seen even at the time guests and Kenyans were expected to have arrived for the fete which becomes the first one to be led by President William Ruto.

The celebrations also come at time when the economic situation is very tough with majority of Kenyans struggling to survive.
Reacting to this, Democratic Action party noted that it is a clear indication that Kenyans are divided. This is after the hotly Contested presidential elections where their preferred presidential candidate Raila Odinga lost to Ruto.
"We are not one nation indeed." The party captioned the photos coming from Uhuru Gardens.
