Garissa MP Takes On Igathe On A Bare-Knuckled Attack Over His Recent Discriminating Remarks

Garissa township Member of Parliament and also former majority leader of the National Assembly, Aden Duale has reacted on Nairobi County's hopeful gubernatorial candidate Polycarp Igathe over his recent remarks.

In accordance to TV47, the Member of Parliament for Garissa was speaking live on Saturday at his residence in Garissa where he had hosted a meeting with people working in the transport industry. He pointed out how Jubilee's candidate for Nairobi's top seat was profiling the Somali community, when in a viral video Igathe says that the Somali community forms a small part of the City hall cartels.

Furious by the remarks, Aden Duale demanded an apology from the Nairobi gubernatorial candidate to the whole Somali community. Aden said that, "Wewe ni mtu mkabila na Nairobi ni ya kila mtu wakristu kwa waisilamu."

Which in loosely translated language means he is tribal and the Nairobi county belongs to all religious groups Christians to Muslims.

Despite that Aden Dual wants the National Cohesion and Integration Commission to investigate Igathe's remarks.
