An aspiring Senator who hails from Chepalungu constituency within Bomet county south rift valley region Hon.Hillary Sigei has come out and promised to give his competitor a CS position once elected comes 2022.
Hon.Sigei who is a lawyer by profession was speaking in one of the function held in Embomos ward said, he will use his closeness with the deputy president of republic of Kenya H.E Dr.William Ruto to lobby for the position.
According to honarable Sigei,the former Knut boss is best in Education sector and not in a senatorial position.
The outspoken leader who is perceived to be gain ground each day, urged the attendees to support him as well as praying for him so as to win in the coming general election.
The workaholic leader did also urged the locals to register as voters so as to make the deputy president wins in his presidential bid.
According the vocal leader,the only way that Ruto will take over after Uhuru's tenure is through the ballot box and not the other way round.
He further praised the hustlers narrative in the said region, adding that it's the best way to improve the livelihood of the people of Kenya.
The hopeful Senator did also urged the locals to continue observing the health protocol that has been set by the ministry of health to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
Hon.Willison Sossion who was present at the time did also urged the residents to vote for him as Bomet Senator comes 2022.
According to the fearless immediate former Knut secretary general,the said position needs a person who has the interest of the teachers at his heart.
The county of government Bomet is currently represented by Hon.Christopper Langat who was elected under the Jubilee party ticket 2017.
Most of the residents have claimed that the Incumbent has failed to represent the region as expected.
It is now the matter of wait and see if the residents are going to elect honarable Hillary Sigei as their Senator as they have promised or Hon.Wilson Sossion is going to carry the day as few of the teachers claimes.
