According to the news which was shared on the social media platforms, the former prime minister Raila Odinga attended a conference with other Azimio La Umoja principals led by the wiper party leader Hon Kalonzo Musyoka. The governors and their deputies agreed to work together so that they can prepare themselves well in the coming general election which will be held in 2027.
The Azimio La Umoja leaders who attended the conference includes the Azimio La Umoja running mate Hon Martha Karua, Siaya governor Hon James Orengo, former Kakamega governor Hon Wycliffe Oparanya, Trans Nzoia Governor Hon George Natembeya among other leaders.
