Taking to his preferred mode of communication, Twitter, the ODM senator said that no Kenyan can get rich through the Hustler Fund loan. He likened the Hustler Fund to former President Uhuru Kenyatta's Huduma Number project.
"The hustler fund is a scam ! You cannot get rich by borrowing 500 bob. This is another HUDUMA number scam! Please stay away!," Senator Ledema opined.
This not the first time the senator is criticising the Hustler Fund. Ever since President Ruto launched the kitty, the ODM senator has been a vocal critic of the same. In a separate tweet posted three days ago, the opposition politician warned Kenyans against taking the Hustler Fund loan.
"Dear Kenyans if you borrow Ksh 500 from @WilliamsRuto Hustler Fund you will receive the Ksh 500-8%(40)-30=Ksh430 if you fail to pay in 14 days on the 15th day you will owe the hustler Ksh 547.50 if you fail to pay for a month you will owe the hustler Ksh 1,925. Is this worth it?" he posted.
