Kenyans have been faced with another sad story this afternoon after the death of father to one of the vocal politicians from the Rift Valley region.
The member of parliament has gone ahead to disclose that his father has rested at the age of 89 years.
"My mzee has gone to be with the Lord. We thank God for the 89 years he has given us to be with him. Rest in peace Francis Kuria Kimani senior." Posted the legislator on his Facebook page.
However, the MP have not disclosed the cause of his death but he has gone forward to share the memorable photos with his dad.
This death comes at a time when the country is mourning the death of Tanzania president, John Pombe Magufuli, who passed on yesterday after a cardiac arrest at one of the hospitals in Dar es salaam.
Kuria has lost his dad just a few months since his counterpart Bahati MP lost his mother and then lost his son just two weeks ago.
Kenyans have united to condole with the family of Kuria Kimani as they undergo this hard time. Those who knew mzee have termed him as a hard-working person and a nationalist.
Rest in eternal peace Francis Kuria Kimani.
