KANU delegates today endorsed party chairman Gideon Moi to be their flag bearer. Over 3000 delegates unanimously gave him a go ahead to meet other like minded leaders to form the next government.
The party secretary general asked all delegates to go to the grassroot and sell the party's agenda. He also said that it's now time for KANU to field a Presidential candidate after being out for a long time.
Gideon Moi on his side thanked the delegates for making him the flag bearer. He accepted the challenge and said he is ready for the task ahead.
Raila Odinga Congtratuled him and asked him to stand firm. He also insisted that as any other Kenyan he has a right to vie for the presidential seat.
Mudavadi also wished him well as he starts the journey to vie for the top seat.
Kalonzo on his side promised to work together no matter what happens onwards.
The OKA leaders are yet to decided who will be their flag bearer since they all have been endorsed by their respective parties.
As we head to next coming election we will get to know how things unfold.
