Politicians always live luxuriously with very high living standards, with a few of them enjoying this state currently, what they might have passed through before achieving this is unimaginable.
The following list highlights some of them:
Millicent Omanga
The 36 year old senator would be one of the people to talk about fortune, upto date, Senator Omanga still owes all thanks to Deputy President William Ruto,
who had dragged her from hawking beedshets to a lucrative position in the government, now an appointment Senator. What a journey.
William Ruto
You must have heard the deputy president refer to himself as a "hustler" frequently in politics. Yes,it's not just for the sake of it,William Ruto has passed through ups and downs to be where he is now.
Tracing from selling chicken then, when he had even no shoes to put on. Ruto never gave up in his goal in life until when he rose as a Member of Parliament in 1997,but then this never changed his love for chicken rearing which he still practices upto dat.
Charles Nguna
Charles Nguna came from a very humble background living a very miserable life. Nguna recalls performing very tedious tasks like weeding farms that would yield meerely 200 shillings a day.
Having been able to complete his university education, Nguna's thirst for success then began, until in 2017 when he won the Mwingi west Parliamentary seat with the Wiper ticket.
Kipchumba Murkomen
The current Elegeyo Marakwet Senator is just another testimony, having rose from a hustler in Nairobi who preached to earn a living.
Murkomen Pastoral work however did not yield much fruits due to wrangles within the church. Murkomen struggled and pursued his law degree where his star began to shine.
Maina Njenga
Not occupying any political seat currently, the former Laikipia Gubernatorial aspirant shares a dirty past, currently reformed from being a criminal from the infamous Mungiki group.
His history says it all. After being released from Court due to lack of concrete evidence,Kamanda is now serving as a pastor.
