ODM leader Hon. Raila Odinga today promised Kenyans that he will committed to priotise universal health care if he is elected as the fifth president of Kenya. Raila made these remarks while speaking to the residents of Migori. Accompanied by some of the ODM allies like Wycliffe Oparanya, CAS Mwangangi, James Ongwae among other leaders, Raila said that all Kenyans have a right to enjoy better health care.
Raila also promised to revive some of the sugar industries that have collapsed in the country. He said that there is no need for the government to lease the sugar companies to private investors and yet they can be saved to benefit more Kenyans. Raila said that all Kenyans will be provided with free medical care. Hon. Raila who is making his fifth attempt to the presidency said that his government will make sure that it will upgrade public hospitals. However, Martha Karua reacted to his speech. In her remarks she said that was one of her pillars when she ran for presidency in 2013. Karua now claims that was her campaign strategy and maybe Raila is now using it.
