Flamboyant US based Lawyer Makau Mutua has threatened that he may file a petition in court seeking to refrain Deputy President William Ruto's United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party from using its colors, that is yellow and green.
Majau Mutua has alleged that yellow and green belong to a community and its an infringement to the community's property rights.
Makau has alleged that the colors are 'Akamba colors' and the use of the colors by UDA is an 'intolerable theft and an infringement of the Kamba community's intellectual property rights.
"I MAY petition the court to RESTRAIN @UDAPartyKe from donning “Akamba colors” — it’s an intolerable THEFT and an INFRINGEMENT of a community’s intellectual property rights. I may hire my BFF @ahmednasirlaw to represent the Akamba in what could be a historic and landmark suit," Lawyer Makau Mutua said.
