What Awaits Kenyans in Today's Presidential Address

At least 1073 patients were admitted in various hospitals in the country.The ministry seeks to vaccinate over twenty thousand people.

More than 64000 people have been vaccinated since the exercise kicked off in march 8th.

However the government is looking forward to adding more rules including moving in and out of five counties.This are the counties reporting the higher number of infections.

Rumors say that president uhuru Kenyatta is looking forward for imposing a one month restriction of movement.Counties likely to be affected are Nairobi,Nakuru, machakos and kiambu.

The National Emergency Response Committee is said to on regard lockdown if the five counties is a serious consideration to reduce further spread of the virus.

However many kenyans fear that the lockdown would interferes with travel plans by thousands of families planning to go upcountry and other destinations for Ester Holiday.

There are also fears about spread of the new variants of the virus,the one first detected in United Kingdom and the other one identified in South Africa.

As part of the government's work to contain the spread of the virus and rising fatalities,it has considered vaccinating people above 58 years .
