This is after his photo with the KANU chairman Gideon Moi went viral.
Throuhh his official Facebook page Echesa said its ridiculous for people to conclude that he had joined KANU party.
"Came across this doing round in social media. It is ridiculous to some people to conclude that I have joined KANU. I am an Hustler, in and out, and joining KANU is like commiting political suicide. Where do I get guts to ditch UDA?" said Echesa.
The former sports Cabinet Secretary is a staunch supporter of the deputy president William Ruto's hustler movement and his 2022 presidential bid.
But his bid has been rubbished by the dynasties led by COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli and Jubilee party vice chair David Murathe who have termed him as corrupt and cannot be trusted with the countrys leadership.
"Senator Gideon Moi is my political friend, we were comparing the dynamics and I told him Hustler movement is unstoppable. Baringo county is a no go zone, kila mahali ni hustler.I don't know where he will be hiding after 2022," he added.
Gideon Moi who is the son of the deceased former Kenya's president Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi will be vying for presidency come 2022.
