Various leaders from the United States are set to meet the outgoing President Uhuru Kenyatta, the president elect William Ruto and the former prime minister Raila Odinga.Kenya 2022 vote: The war of words on social media between Ruto's and Raila's supporters

The leaders will try to oversee a smooth transition of the presidency from Uhuru to his deputy William Ruto and the now deputy elect Rigathi Gachagua.

The aim of the talks will also be to try and talk the Orange Democratic Movement party leader into conceding defeat in the just concluded 2022 general elections.

Mr. Odinga who had full support of Uhuru in the election disagreed with the final presidential results which saw the UDA leader announced the winner.Image

Raila's claims were backed by the four commissioners led by Juliana Cherera who distanced themselves away from Chebukati's announcement.

The Azimio One Kenya coalition legal team are set to move to the Supreme court to challenge results amid push from various leaders that they should concede defeat.

What is your view on the end results of the talks?
