10th of October every year has been a day of Celebrating Moi day, the second President of Kenya who served a period of 24 years since 1978.
However after recent changes, the CS for Interior Fred Matiangi said that henceforth it will be regarded as Huduma Day, a holiday that the country will be celebrating different services. Well, another function that occurred today was the Inter-denominational or Inter-faith gathering for National Prayer Service at the State House. President Uhuru Kenyatta together with his DP presided over various religious leaders who had attended.
Also, it was a special day that, Embakasi East MP Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino was born and is now 31 years of age. The crazt thing about Owino’s birthday is that he doesn’t want any gifts from anyone but has a party that accumulates a budget of Ksh 15 Million.
Via his twitter handle he uploaded a price list for each and every person guests and items and the amounts were just ridiculous. For example, Julius Malema from South Africa will attend the party at a cost of Ksh 1.75M. All entertainers are to be paid a total amount of Ksh 1.5M. All guests to gifted with Ksh 1M gifts. Food and snacks are to cost Ksh 2.65M.
