Challenges that Raila is facing as he climbs the mountain.

1.Perceived Jubilee failure.*

The truth of the matter is that Kenyan is very angry with the Jubilee government because their life has been made unbearable most Kenyan. A good example here is due to an increase in fuel. Raila is perceived to be part of the jubilee government and because of the failure of the government, this makes it difficult to penetrate the Mount Kenya region.

2. The propaganda from team Tangatanga against Uhuru Kenyatta.

Uhuru promised to support his deputy but now he is not going to support him. This is a major challenge because Ruto has gone out to the ground and convinced the people that he is being betrayed because of Raila Odinga.

3. The determination of Ruto.

The meetings that Ruto is holding almost 80% are from the Mount Kenya region. This shows high determinations. For example, if you consider the number of churches Ruto is attending, the larger number is from mount Kenya.

4. The division within Uhuru's government.

The truth of the matter is that there are two groups and this is making it hard for Raila to climb mount Kenya. Some want Raila and the other group is not supporting him but the deputy president.
