Pressure has mounted on embattled President Uhuru Kenyatta to resign following the spectacular failure of BBI and for abandoning his government to join the opposition outfit NASA.

A visibly intoxicated Kenyatta could not contain is outburst on Monday evening during an interview, as he also called for the resignation of his deputy William Ruto.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has been through mud and dirt recently following a string of court loses and with his only hope of BBI trashed by the Court of Appeal last week.

All indications however reveal that the President is likely to take the BBI battle to the Supreme -- the weakest link in Kenya's judicial system.

Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen has dared President Uhuru Kenyatta to resign if he can't work with his deputy, William Ruto.

"Resignation from Public office is not a preserve of a specific person or office, even the other one can RESIGN and Kenya will move on," Murkomen said.

"What stops him from leading by example and resigning?" Murkomen added.
